Living Waters Behavioral Solutions brand and website launch showing logo, desktop and mobile website designs, signage, apparel, and branding created in collaboration with GREENstick.

Some of my favorite projects don't begin with someone asking us to redesign a website.

    They begin with an idea.

A conversation about what someone wants to build, who they want to help, why the business needs to exist, and what they want people to feel when they encounter the brand for the first time.

That was very much the case with Living Waters Behavioral Solutions.

Over the past several weeks, our team at GREENstick has had the opportunity to work alongside founder Tiffany Boyer, MA Ed., BCBA, LBA-NC as she brought a new behavioral-support business to life here in North Carolina.

And this wasn't simply about creating a website.

We were helping create the public-facing foundation of a new company.

From the name and visual identity to the messaging, user experience, search strategy, mobile experience, and ultimately the launch itself, this became one of those projects where strategy, technology, design, and a founder's personal mission all had to come together.

It Started With Understanding the Vision

Before we started thinking about pages, colors, buttons, or search rankings, we needed to understand Tiffany's vision.

Living Waters Behavioral Solutions was being created to offer families a different kind of behavioral support—one built around collaboration, practical strategies, compassion, and goals that matter in everyday family life.

Tiffany brings more than 20 years of combined experience across behavioral, educational, and community-based settings. Her background includes work in group homes, secure treatment environments, programs supporting at-risk youth, and special education environments.

But professional credentials were only one part of the brand story.

We also needed the website to communicate her philosophy.

Living Waters is rooted in the idea that meaningful behavioral support shouldn't feel cold, intimidating, overly clinical, or disconnected from the realities families experience at home. That became an important part of nearly every decision we made.

A great brand starts long before the logo. It starts with understanding why the business exists and what people should feel when they experience it.

Creating a Brand That Felt Like Living Waters

The visual identity needed to balance several ideas that don't always naturally live together:

    • Faith.
    • Science.
    • Compassion.
    • Professional credibility.
    • Family.
    • Growth.
    • Calm.
    • Hope.

The resulting Living Waters identity brings those elements together through the flowing water imagery, botanical details, soft natural colors, and an approachable but professional visual style.

The brand positioning eventually became beautifully summarized in three ideas:

    Rooted in Faith.

Guided by the Science of Behavior Change.

    Empowering Families.

Those words became much more than a tagline.

They helped shape the website itself.

The brand uses deep blue as its primary anchor, complemented by soft blush, lavender, botanical green, warm neutral tones, and watercolor-inspired elements. The result feels approachable and personal while still supporting the credibility expected from a professional behavioral-services provider.

The Website Couldn't Just Look Good

This is an area where I think businesses sometimes make a mistake.

    A beautiful website isn't enough.

It also has to answer questions. It has to reduce uncertainty. It has to help the visitor understand whether they're in the right place. And it has to make the next step feel easy.

For Living Waters, we built the website around the questions parents and caregivers are actually likely to have.

    • Q.What kind of support is available?
    • Q.Could this help my family?
    • Q.What happens if my child doesn't have a formal diagnosis?
    • Q.Can someone help us with school or IEP concerns?
    • Q.Is virtual support available?
    • Q.What does working together actually look like?
    • Q.How do I get started?

Instead of making families dig through clinical terminology, the website creates a much clearer path from "I'm struggling with this" to "here's what we can do next."

    Building Around the Parent Experience

The homepage intentionally begins with a very direct promise:

"Practical Behavior Support for Parents Who Need a Better Way Forward."

The supporting messaging then speaks to real situations families may be experiencing—meltdowns, difficult transitions, impulsivity, school concerns, communication challenges, and overwhelming routines.

From there, visitors can explore support options including:

    • 1:1 ABA Therapy
    • Parent Coaching
    • Behavior Support at Home
    • School & IEP Support
    • Emotional Regulation Support
    • Parent Education and Webinars

The site also explains who Living Waters may be able to support, including families navigating ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, emotional regulation challenges, school behavior concerns, impulsivity, anxiety-driven behavior, routines and transitions, communication challenges, and other behavioral needs.

The goal was not to overwhelm someone with information.

The goal was to give a parent enough clarity to feel comfortable taking the next step.

Giving the Founder a Real Voice

One of my favorite areas of the new site is Tiffany's founder story.

Too many professional websites bury the person behind the business under generic corporate language. We wanted to do the opposite.

Visitors should understand who Tiffany is, the experience she brings, what motivated her to create Living Waters, and why she believes families should have more room to collaborate around goals that are meaningful to their everyday lives.

That's particularly important for a business built around trust. Parents aren't simply evaluating a service. They're deciding who they're willing to talk to about some of the most stressful and personal challenges happening inside their family.

The website needed to make Tiffany visible as a real person—not simply a list of credentials.

Designed for Search — Including the Way Search Is Changing

Launching a new business today also means thinking beyond what a website looks like on day one.

The site needs a foundation that search engines and increasingly AI-driven discovery platforms can understand.

As part of the Living Waters build, GREENstick structured the website around clear service language, geographic relevance, useful questions and answers, descriptive page metadata, logical content hierarchy, accessibility considerations, mobile performance, and content that genuinely helps families understand the services being offered.

    That's an important distinction.

SEO in 2026 isn't about stuffing keywords onto a page. And Answer Engine Optimization isn't about trying to trick AI.

Both start with making the business easier to understand.

    • Who do you help?
    • What do you provide?
    • Where do you provide it?
    • Why does it matter?
    • What makes your approach different?
    • What questions do prospective clients repeatedly ask?

When those answers are clear to people, they're also significantly easier for search systems to interpret.

Built for Mobile, Because That's Where the First Impression Often Happens

We also designed the experience knowing that many parents aren't going to discover Living Waters while sitting behind a desktop computer.

They may be searching from their phone after a difficult school pickup. During a lunch break. In the evening after the kids are asleep. Or immediately after realizing they need additional support.

That means the mobile experience can't be an afterthought.

Navigation, service information, founder credibility, calls to action, consultation scheduling, contact information, and important disclaimers all needed to remain easy to understand and use on smaller screens.

The final experience was designed to feel consistent whether someone encounters Living Waters on a laptop, phone, search engine, social post, business card, or future piece of print collateral.

More Than a Website: Building the Foundation for a New Business

This project is a good example of why I don't really think of GREENstick as simply a website company.

A website was certainly one of the deliverables. But the work involved much more:

    Brand positioning
    Logo and visual identity
    Messaging strategy
    Website strategy
    Website design & development
    Mobile experience
    Conversion strategy
    SEO foundation
    Answer Engine Optimization
    Accessibility
    Content organization
    Founder positioning
    Calls to action
    Consultation pathways
    Professional disclaimers
    Brand consistency
    Future growth planning

That combination is what turns a website into part of a larger business-growth system.

What I Love Most About This Launch

The finished website looks good. I'm proud of that.

But what I like even more is that it feels like the business Tiffany described when we first started working together.

    • Warm without losing professionalism.
    • Faith-centered without excluding families who may come from different backgrounds.
    • Science-based without feeling cold.
    • Personal without sacrificing credibility.
    • And clear enough that an overwhelmed parent can quickly understand where to go next.

That's the part of branding and website development that technology alone can't solve.

"You have to listen first. Then you build."

    Congratulations, Tiffany

Launching a new business takes a tremendous amount of trust, decision-making, patience, and courage.
