Your team relies on tools built for the work you do. Your AI Workforce should be able to help inside those tools, too.

GREENstick Business App now supports connections to compatible public MCP servers. MCP, short for Model Context Protocol, gives AI tools a way to work with capabilities provided by other software.

When a software provider offers a supported MCP server, you can connect it without waiting for a native integration.

    What’s new

    • Connect a compatible MCP server using its publicly reachable URL.
    • Authenticate with an API key or OAuth, depending on the server.
    • Manage the connection from your Integrations page.
    • Assign available capabilities to selected AI Employees for use in chat.

    Why it matters

This opens more possibilities for organizations using specialized software. Depending on what the connected server supports and the permissions you grant, your AI Workforce can help retrieve information or take supported actions in those systems.

Available actions vary by tool, account and server. Connecting a server does not automatically give every AI Employee access.

    Get connected

Before you begin, obtain the MCP server URL from a trusted software provider. Confirm compatibility, authentication requirements and the permissions your organization approves.

    1. Open Administration > Integrations in GREENstick Business App.
    2. Choose the MCP connection option. Depending on your interface, this may appear as Connect MCP or Add server in the MCP servers section.
    3. Enter the provider’s public MCP server URL and give the connection a recognizable name.
    4. Choose the supported authentication method: API key or OAuth.
    5. Enter credentials only in the connection setup fields, or complete the provider’s sign-in and authorization process.
    6. Confirm that the connection appears on your Integrations page.

    Give an AI Employee access

    1. Open the AI Employee you want to configure.
    2. Add the required capability from the connected MCP integration.
    3. Save, then test a low-risk task in chat before expanding use.

Start with only the permissions and capabilities needed. Never paste API keys into chat.

    Availability

Tools with a compatible, publicly reachable MCP server and supported authentication. Availability also depends on the provider’s account requirements and permissions.

    Affected Customers

    Action Required

Confirm compatibility, authentication requirements and approved permissions. Connect the server, assign required capabilities to selected AI Employees, and test a low-risk task in chat. Never paste API keys into chat.
